(Optional) back ground story:
-1982- Got my first gaming console at age 3(Atari 2600).
-1984- Made friends with kids I didn't like so I could go over to their house and play their NES.
-1986- First person in my school to punch out Mike Tyson (in the NES game).
-1987- Finally convinced my parents to buy me my own NES. Stopped calling friends with NES's.
-1989- Purchased a TurboGraphx 16 just to play Military Madness.
-1990- Got a used Genesis for $100 just so I could play Might and Magic II and Road Rash.
-1991- Bought a Super NES on launch day with F-Zero while eagerly awaiting Street Fighter II.
-1995- Plunked down the cash for a PS1 without realizing it would have no good games.
-1998- Finally a console with online play hit the market. My beloved Sega Dreamcast, still got it.
-1999- Played Ultima Online and Everquest to my own detriment, eventually got my life on track.
-2000- Bought my first motorcycle. A blue and yellow 1990 Yamaha RZ-350. Oh how i miss her.
-2001- Flipped over to Neverwinter Nights since it allowed used-created persistent worlds. A 1st.
-2002- Began Apprenticeship as a machinist. (completed in 2006)
-2006- After buying a selling a Suzuki Katana and a Kawasaki ZX-6RR, got my current GSX-R 750.
-2005- Waited all night at Wal-Mart to buy an XBOX 360 on launch day. Thank the maker for PSP.
-2011- Finally caved in an bought a PS3 JUST to play this game and have remained monoGAM(E)ous.
Why I'm SOL material:
I'm logged in way more than I should be as I grind away at the cutting edge of peak performance.
DCUO is that rare fusion of game genres that transcends the sum of it's parts. An Action MMO with fighting game elements. I don't see anything like it or better coming along anytime soon.
